WILCO works with the plug-ins (or plugin, add-in, addin, add-on, or addon), that is a software component that adds a specific features that enables customisation. On WILCO, plugins contains:
layouts
fault codes
parameters
dashboards
trend bundles
event table bundles
bookmarks
constants
docs
ifts
elastic (big data)
Since plugins contains all the mentioned above components, it is important to correlate each component to its plugin!
The plugins could be related to aircraft type, ATA chapter or any other R&D. Some of the plugins are already described in the chapter: .
In order to get to the plugins, click on Plugins from the General Conf:
As an ADMIN you can create a plugin; edit it or even delete. You can associate plugin to an airline, or remove it.
In order to add plugin, click on the button Add Plugin, situated on the top right side of the display.
Fill in the data of the Add Plugin - new plugin form. The example of the fw.demo plugin is displayed above:
xid: that would be a name of the plugin (ex. fw.demo)
NOTE: the xid is required to create the new plugin!
screenName: the name visible under Edit Plugins (ex. DEMO)
editable: if that box is checked, then that plugin is editable under this platform.
airlines: if none airline is chosen here, then all the airlines will have that plugin enabled. Otherwise, choose the airlines that would use it (ex. DEMO).
bigdata: check that box, if you want this to be SPACE in our big data platform.
initials: optional - to be used to identify SPACE in our big data platform.
Click on Save button. Plugin is created and only airline DEMO uses it:
In order to edit any plugin from the General Conf view, go the list of the plugins and choose the one you'd like to delete. Click on its name (xid) to enter into edit plugins visu.
On the below example, on the plugin fw.demo, in order for airline AAA to be able to visualize the elements that the plugin fw.demo contains, we need to add that airline to the plugin. Just click on the airline (AAA) to highlight it and click on Save button to save the changes.
Although deleting plugin is possible, be completely sure that you want to do that.
In order to proceed with the deletion, make sure no airline uses it, that it contains no needed information - and click on the Delete Plugin button situated on the top right side of the window.
docURL: the place where we could put the link to the relevant documentation at
That plugin will be now visible under
