Edit IFTs

IFTs are business rules that are run at each message received. It is either linked to a layout, or a parameter or a fault code.

a pre-requisite is to know javascript.

NOTE: on the side of every IFT box, there is a link to help you in coding: help V2.0.

In order to edit IFTs, click on Action and then Edit IFTs :

You can search for IFTs that were created on any of the following objects:

  • parameter

  • Bite message (fault code)

  • Downlink (report reception)

You can even search for the IFTs that are using any of the following objects:

  • parameter

  • Bite message

  • Downlink (report reception)

  • part of the code

  • tags

  • mail

  • constants

  • docs

Hereafter the example of search for the word: MACH. Results shows that the word MACH is used at PARAMETER and at the BITE MSG IFTs:
