Constants
From the constant values of parameters to the mail list of distribution
On top of the features of Add/Edit Constant explained on Designer Guide, Admin should additionally manage the notion of plugins (plugin and componentXid).
Add Constant
set plugin
Thus, for example, creating new constant: fill all the fields and choose the correct plugin to connect that constant to (as shown on the image below):
Note: Only plugins that are editable on that platform will be shown!
set componentXid
Once the plugin is set (ex. fw.demo), the componentXid could be set by ADMIN or if left empty, per default - it will be the same as the name. Click on Save button:
Now, in order to have that configuration saved in the Version Controlled System, ADMIN shall COMMIT it's changes on the plugin.
Edit Constant
Follow the edition of the constant.
